Foreign direct investment (FDI) into China increased 2.9 per cent in the first nine months of this year to 636.7 billion yuan ($91.77 billion) from a year earlier, China's Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
In September, the FDI into China rose 8 per cent to 76.27 billion yuan compared with the year-ago period, the ministry said.
Foreign direct investment into China from the United States in January-September rose 6.7 per cent from a year earlier.
