Tripura: Supreme court increases 10323 teachers term by 2 years

The Supreme Court on today permitted Tripura government to take the services of terminated teachers till the academic session 2020 on a contempt plea against the Tripura government for violating SC order mandating recruitment of 12,000 non-teaching staff.

The hearing of the highly awaited 10,323 teacher's termination case was presided over by the Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi who presided over the two-judge bench making the bench a three-judge bench.

Tripura's education minister Ratan Lal Nath welcomed the decision of the Apex Court.
