Vikings Season 5 Spoilers: Will Ubbe survive in battle? Impending war between Bjorn-Ivar

After a prolonged hiatus of 11 months, 'Vikings' Season 5 is set to come back tonight, November 28 on History at 9 pm central. Fans residing in the United Kingdom can download the episode on Amazon Prime on Thursday, November 29. As far as the spoilers are concerned, the fate of Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel) and Aslaug's (Alyssa Sutherland) eldest son Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) will get the maximum coverage as his life is at stake.

In a teaser posted on the series' Twitter account, it was quite cleared that Ubbe will be in danger in the upcoming episode(s) of 'Vikings' Season 5. Actress Georgia Hirst, who plays her recurring role Torvi, confirmed in the video that the upcoming season will get to see some new faces called Black Danes. Nothing more about Black Danes is revealed but King Alfred (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) is heard saying in the teaser – The Black Danes are sailing from Dublin across to Cornwall with 300 ships.

The trailer further showed Ubbe's confirmation saying that he and the recurring character Torvi are now married. Torvi tells Ubbe in the video – "If we have to fight, if we have to fear them, then we will do it together."

"Ubbe ends up in a very hideous fight with one of these Black Danes and it is probably one of the most gruesome things you will ever see. There's his life at stake and for Torvi that's her life as well because she is so in love with him," Georgia Hirst said in the video.

Fans might be disappointed to know how the teaser ended showing Ubbe in a vicious sword fight with one Viking and finally falling over the ground with his face filled with blood. Although the clip showed he was still alive, it is still unknown how long he would survive. Even the reason behind the Black Deans' battle with Ubbe is not disclosed.

The part B of 'Vikings' Season 5 will also see Ragnar Lothbrok's sons still engaged in a bitter power struggle with Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Anderson). Other trailers also hint a huge battle will take place in the upcoming episodes between Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) and Ivar (the Boneless). Bjorn is now homeless and very angry as he believes his brother and uncle have betrayed him.

'Vikings' Season 5 episode 11 titled 'The Revelation' returns tonight, November 28 at 9 pm central on History.
