The Special Branch of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested a financial advisor working under Smart City Project in Rajasthan's Udaipur district and a middleman for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.  The advisor, Abid Khan, and his accomplice Arif had demanded a bribe of Rs 6 lakh from a contractor engaged in the project to clear his outstanding payment of Rs 50 lakh, ACB Director General Alok Tripathi said.  He said the deal was fixed at Rs 3 lakh. The complaint was verified during which Khan accepted a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. Both were arrested on Friday after Arif took the remaining bribe money.  A case has been registered against them and further investigation is on, the official said.
