French singer Charles Aznavour, who stole the hearts of millions with decades of haunting love songs, has died aged 94, his spokeswoman said on Monday. Aznavour passed away overnight at one of his homes, in the village of Mouries north of the French port city of Marseille.
Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen treated again for cancer
Microsoft Corp co-founder Paul Allen said on Monday he had started treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the same type of cancer he overcame nine years ago. In a brief statement, Allen said he learned recently that cancer had returned and said he planned "on fighting this aggressively" while staying involved in his philanthropic and business dealings.
Rapper Cardi B charged in connection with assault in New York
Rapper Cardi B surrendered to New York City police on Monday and was charged with assault and reckless endangerment after a complaint claimed she was involved in a fight at a strip club in August. Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, was allegedly involved in an incident at the Angels NYC strip club in the borough of Queens, according to police spokesman Martin Brown, who said the investigation was continuing.
