Uttar Pradesh: 2 killed, 7 hurt as truck hits tempo in Turra village

Two persons, including an eight-year-old girl, were killed and seven others injured when a tempo was hit by a truck in Turra village in the Banda UA area here, police said Thursday.

The incident took place Wednesday, they said, adding that the deceased was an unidentified youth and an eight-year-old girl, Amina.

The injured were rushed to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.

The driver of the truck was arrested by the police.
