Police seizes 5 kg contraband from suspected drug peddler in UP

A suspected drug peddler was arrested at Jansath here and 5 kg contraband was seized from his possession, police said Monday.

Police intercepted a bike on Sunday and Rajiv was held with the contraband, SHO Anand Dev Mishra said.

A case has been registered against Rajiv under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, he said.
