Kabul blasts: At least 9 injured in Shahr-e-Naw area, no casualties reported yet

An explosion shook an upscale area of Afghanistan's Kabul on Wednesday, the third day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, sending a cloud of smoke and dust into the sky, Devdiscourse has reported earlier citing a news agency.

It is now being reported that at least 9 people have been wounded due to the blast although there are no reports about casualties yet.

Security around Kabul has been tight since Taliban militants announced their annual spring offensive and the group vowed to target Afghan government and foreign installations.
