No Salary Hike for Civil Servant in Zimbabwe, says Govt

Government of Zimbabwe has dismissed reports claiming salary increase to all civil servants. The government said the discussion is still undergoing on the issue and will be informed soon. According to sources, the government had invited civil servants representatives to a meeting scheduled for today i.e June 5.

Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube in a statement said that the government has not set aside any money for the purposes of giving a cushion allowance to its employees.
