Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has made another attempt to capture the key hilltop of Tal Malah in northwestern Hama. This was the second attempt by Syrian forces in the last 24 hours, according to Al-Masdar news.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army reportedly stormed the western and southern axes of Tal Malah in a bid to expel the jihadist rebels of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham from the hilltop.

Syrian forces have also launched attacks on militant supply lines in northern Hama to ensure that they are unable to reinforce their troops at Tal Malah.

The fighting to retake towns has been raging since April. A total of 126 personnel from government-backed forces and 102 rebels have lost their lives in the three towns since the latest offensive was launched three days ago, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
