Pakistan has reportedly banned Indian advertisements and has also launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies amid rising tensions with its neighbor country over Kashmir issue, news agency ANI has reported.

Pakistan earlier downgraded bilateral ties with India and also closed its border for trade after New Delhi removed Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir is a disputed region between India and Pakistan.

Kashmir has been under a total clampdown from 12 days now. The state administration has directed government employees to report at work from Friday through a radio announcement. However, the communication clampdown continues as all telephone and Internet services remained suspended.
