UK’s largest pub retailer Greene King agrees 2.7 bn pound sale to Hong Kong's CKA

The largest pub retailer and brewer of the United Kingdom, Greene King has agreed to a 2.7 billion pounds sale to Hong Kong real estate giant CK Asset Holding (CKA), according to PA media. Greene King is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England and owns pubs, restaurants, and hotels. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

CK Asset Holdings, previously known as Cheung Kong Property Holdings Limited, is a property developer registered in the Cayman Islands, with its headquarters and principal place of business in Hong Kong.

The company was established in 2015 as part of a restructure of Cheung Kong Holdings, by spinning off its property holdings into a separate company. CK Asset Holdings began trading on 3 June 2015.
