Police arrests 2 for snatching mobile phones, cash in Delhi

Two persons have been arrested from Dwarka's Chhawla for allegedly snatching mobile phones and cash from pedestrians and cyclists, police said on Sunday.

The accused, Nikesh Maan (25), and Surender Kumar (23), both residents of Najafgarh in outer Delhi were arrested on Saturday from Deenpur Chowk, they said.

On September 27, one Dharampal Singh (52), a resident of Kakarola, filed a complaint that unidentified men riding a motorcycle snatched his mobile phone and Rs 9,000 cash, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said.
