Delhi: 12 injured as lift breaks at under-construction DDA building

Twelve laborers here were left injured on Thursday after an elevator they were in broke down. The laborers were working at an under-construction DDA building in Narela area of the national capital when the wire connecting the elevator broke.

DCP Outer North, Gaurav Sharma, told ANI, "A case for causing injuries due to negligence is being registered against the contractor and the construction company." One the injured identified as Sandesh (35) sustained head injury and is receiving treatment at Lok Nayak hospital, here.

Meanwhile, other laborers are being treated at SRHC Hospital. (ANI)
