President Ramaphosa approves Provincial Official Funeral for Moses Duma

Duma, who passed away last Friday after a long illness, has been described as a humble, disciplined and selfless leader who made a significant contribution and distinguished himself in his service to the people of South Africa and the North West Provincial Government in particular.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has approved the request by the North West Provincial Government for the late Ndleleni Moses Duma to be accorded a Special Provincial Official Funeral (Category 2).

The funeral will take place on Saturday at Ikageng stadium in Potchefstroom from 07h00.

North West Premier Tebogo Job Mokgoro will deliver a eulogy at the funeral service.

In line with the Special Provincial Official Funeral, the President has ordered that the National Flag be flown at half-mast at all flag posts in the North West Province on the day of Duma's funeral service.

Duma, who passed away last Friday after a long illness, has been described as a humble, disciplined and selfless leader who made a significant contribution and distinguished himself in his service to the people of South Africa and the North West Provincial Government in particular.

At the time of his passing, 60-year-old Duma was a Member of the Provincial Legislature.
