Decomposed carcass of elephant calf found in national park in Odisha

Decomposed carcass of an elephant calf was found inside Similipal National Park in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district Friday, forest officials said. The elephant was suspected to have died of some infection, Divisional Forest Officer, Karanjia, Prasanna Kumar Behera said. Post-mortem examination of the carcass was conducted and the report was awaited.
