Egypt extols peace agreement signed between Central Africa Republic and armed groups

Egypt has welcomed the recent signing of a peace agreement in the Central Africa Republic with 14 armed groups.

The government of Central Africa Republic recently inked a new peace agreement with the armed groups to end years-long fighting that left thousands of civilians dead.

Egypt Today noted that the country expresses its support for implementing the agreement for establishing peace and security in Central Africa. The Foreign Ministry extolled the peace agreement after talks between both sides in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

The country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East extolled efforts exerted by Sudan to end the suffering of the Central African people.
