Rwanda has got the opportunity to host Africa50's fourth Annual General Shareholders Meeting between July 9 and 10.

Alain Ebobissé, the Chief Executive Officer of Africa50 said at a recent delegation in Rwanda's capital Kigali that Africa50 is honoured to hold its General Shareholders Meeting (GSM) in Rwanda. The GSM, which will take place in the Kigali Convention Centre in July, will provide updates on Africa50's fundraising activities and growing investment pipeline.

The two-day event is likely to witness ministers and senior government officials from Africa50's shareholder nations including business leaders from Rwanda and overall Africa. The meeting will feature seminars organised in partnership with the Rwandan Development Board, focusing on investment opportunities in the country, particularly in the ICT sector and the KIC project, as reported by The New Times.

The GSM is said to be serving as a podium to share progress and announce significant KIC project milestones. Rwanda joined Africa50 at the institution's last GSM which was held in Kenya's capital Nairobi in July last year.
