After Russia Angola’s President João Lourenço moves to Spain for having bilateral cooperation

Angola's President João Lourenço has been on a two-day visit to the Spain, from Moscow, Russia, where he paid a four-day state visit, as part of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

According to a note released by the President's Civil Affairs Office and distributed to the press on Sunday, the return of the Head of State is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 9. João Lourenço left Moscow city on Friday after an official visit to that country at the invitation of his counterpart, Vladimir Putin. Angolan Head of State's visit was marked by the decoration of President Vladimir Putin with the Order Agostinho Neto.

Still in Moscow, João Lourenço addressed the Russian Parliament, encouraged the local businessmen to invest in Angola, and attended Russia-Angola Business Forum. The Forum focused mainly on the investments in the country in the sectors of the diamond industry, agriculture, fisheries, staff training, transport, chemical industry, energy and telecommunications.

The Angolan President also witnessed, along with his counterpart Vladimir Putin, the signing of new cooperation agreements in the different domains of life of the two countries. On the last day of his visit, João Lourenço, a former student in that country, held a meeting with Angolan students from the University of Friendship and Solidarity with the Peoples.
