President Ram Nath Kovind prorogues Parliament

President Ram Nath Kovind has prorogued both Houses of Parliament -- the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, an official communique said on Friday.

The Houses were adjourned sine die on Wednesday on the conclusion of Budget session that had commenced on January 31.
