President of the European Parliament David Sassoli said he made no progress towards a Brexit deal during a meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, urging Britain to come back with serious proposals for an agreement.
"I came here in the confident hope of hearing proposals which could take negotiations forward. However, I must note that there has been no progress," he said in a statement issued after his meeting in London.
