It was a misty morning in the national capital on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.

"The sky will remain clear but expected to become partly cloudy towards afternoon," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 75 per cent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 35.5 degrees, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
