Uttarakhand: Heavy Rainfall in state; Schools to remain shut tomorrow

Uttarkashi District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan said All private and public schools and colleges will remain shut tomorrow in view of heavy rainfall in the region. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in many districts of the state.

According to the Meteorological department, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh Nainital, Dehradun, and Haridwar may receive heavy to heavy rainfall in the next 48 hours.
