The Green Bay Packers have ruled out receiver Geronimo Allison for Sunday night's road game against the New England Patriots due to hamstring and groin injuries.

Green Bay announced the downgrading of Allison on Saturday and said he didn't travel with the team.

Allison was listed as doubtful on Friday after missing practice. He has 20 receptions for 303 yards and two touchdowns this season.

The Packers also announced the signing of punter Drew Kaser. That gives Green Bay two punters on the 53-man roster.

Rookie JK Scott's 25-yard punt last Sunday set up the Los Angeles Rams' game-winning field goal. Scott is averaging 45.3 yards on 27 punts.

Kaser has a 47.4 career average in 36 career games with the Chargers from 2016-18. Los Angeles released him after four games this season.

Green Bay also added cornerback Tony Brown (hip) to the injury report. He is listed as questionable.

Also listed as questionable are receiver Randall Cobb (hamstring), linebacker Nick Perry (ankle) and safety Jermaine Whitehead (back).
