VfB Stuttgart has appointed Tim Walter as their coach from next season, with the 43-year-old signing a two-year contract, the Bundesliga club said on Monday. Walter, who joins from second division's Holstein Kiel, is Stuttgart's third permanent coach in a year, succeeding Tayfun Korkut, who was sacked in October, and Markus Weinzierl, who left last month.
