'Who is the girl with Shashi Tharoor?' Twitter goes gaga after India vs England match

As disappointed as Indian fans might be due to India's performance at Birmingham against mighty England, there was a reason that sparked excitement in the otherwise slow match, especially during the final overs. Indian politician Shashi Tharoor was spotted with a girl at the match, after which he gained the attention of thousands and the "mystery girl" took social media by storm.

The girl in the pictures is, Deana Uppal, she is an actor currently shooting for a project named "I am Banjara", according to her Instagram profile. She was also the winner of Miss India UK 2012.

She is based in the United Kindom but often works in projects with an Indian touch, she has also featured in an Indian action reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi.
