The Houston Rockets invited former No. 1 overall draft pick Anthony Bennett to training camp. The 26-year-old forward last played an NBA game with the Brooklyn Nets on Jan. 5, 2017.

Bennett, the top pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2013 out of UNLV, agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with Houston, The Athletic reported Friday. He has played parts of four seasons with four teams, averaging 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 151 games (four starts) with the Cavaliers (2013-14), Minnesota Timberwolves (2014-15), Toronto Raptors (2015-16) and the Nets (2016-17).

The 6-foot-8 Toronto native appeared in 25 games (seven starts) with the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers in 2018-19, averaging 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 20.9 minutes. --Field Level Media
