Georgia has completely halted air traffic with other countries, the prime minister's spokesman said on Friday. Irakli Chikovani told a briefing that the measure comes into force from March 20.

He said that the government would coordinate flights by Georgian Airways, which would bring Georgian citizens abroad back to the ex-Soviet country. Georgia reported 43 cases of coronavirus as of Friday. One patient has recovered.
