The Israeli cabinet has approved reopening the Erez crossing into Gaza and the temporary use of Ashdod port for aid deliveries in response to White House pressure to step up humanitarian aid into Gaza, the Times of Israel reported on Friday.

Israel will also increase the amount of aid from Jordan moving through the Kerem Shalom crossing, the newspaper reported.
