Zimbabweans are all set to go to the polls on Monday to vote in the first election since long-time leader Robert Mugabe was ousted last year. The election, which is going to happen on 30th July 2018 will elect the nation's new President and members of Parliament.
The contest is between President Emmerson Mnangagwa, leader of Mugabe's entrenched Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF), and charismatic preacher, Nelson Chamisa of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).
The race is too close to call, according to the latest polls, and a runoff on September 8 is a real possibility.
