Orlando second-year power forward Jonathan Isaac left in the first half of the Magic's Monday night preseason game in Philadelphia due to a sprained right ankle, according to NBA.com.
The 6-foot-10 Isaac, the sixth overall pick by the Magic out of Florida State in 2017, had two points, one rebound and one block in nine minutes before exiting.
Isaac played only 27 games, with two starts, in his rookie season because of foot and ankle injuries, the same ankle he injured Monday night. In about 20 minutes a game, he averaged 5.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
The Magic open the season Oct. 17 with a home game against the Miami Heat.
