3 people injured in accident at Jalgaon district of Maharashtra

Three persons including two cameramen of a news channel were injured in an accident in Jalgaon district of north Maharashtra Friday, police said.
A speeding truck dashed a car carrying media persons, who were covering the Congress's Jan Sangharsh campaign, near Parola in the district Friday afternoon, police said.
Two cameramen and the driver of the car were injured in the accident. They were taken to a nearby hospital, a police officer said, adding that all three were out of danger.
The truck driver absconded from the spot and a case of rash driving has been registered against him, the official said.
State Congress chief Ashok Chavan and other leaders who were taking part in the campaign visited the injured media persons in the hospital.
