Santa Fe and Millonarios played out a goalless draw in their Copa Sudamericana Round-of-16 first leg match at the El Campin Stadium here.
The two Bogota-based rivals were unable to create many clear goalscoring opportunities in a scrappy match on Tuesday which was marked by fouls, reports Efe.
Santa Fe started the brighter of the two but was limited to shots from a distance, with their final ball often letting them down.
Millonarios' best chance to score a goal came in the 24th minute when Oscar Barreto almost capitalized on a poor back pass, but he was unable to round the goalkeeper.
Santa Fe came close to breaking the deadlock in the second half, but could only find the crossbar through Yeison Gordillo.
Millonarios midfielder Cesar Carrillo picked up his second booking in the 75th minute, as the match continued to be defined by tough challenges and poor passing.
The teams will play the second leg on October 2 in the same stadium.
