Tracy Letts will essay the role of Henry Ford II in Fox's untitled Ford vs Ferrari movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 53-year-old actor will play the eldest grandson of Ford Motor Company founder, Henry Ford.

The film, based on AJ Baime's book "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans" and to be directed by "Logan" helmer James Mangold, will feature Matt Damon and Christian Bale in the lead.

Damon will portray automotive visionary Carroll Shelby, while Bale is playing British driver Ken Miles.

"House of Cards" actor Paul Sparks is also on board the cast.

The movie is about the feud between Ford and Ferrari as they both competed to win Le Mans World Championship in France in 1966. The project will be produced by Chernin Entertainment.
