● The brand makes the finest products accessible to GenZ at affordable rates ● Eyes 12% contribution in its revenue from the new segment. Partners with Rentity for execution ● Modern-day consumers can now choose flexibility, affordability and sustainability National, 27th September 2022: Always leading from the front in terms of technology and innovation, India's leading kitchen appliances brand Wonderchef has taken a leadership role in fueling the growth of the Shared Economy by offering its wide range of home and kitchen appliances on rent via its Wonderent service. Now customers can experience the quality of Wonderchef products without necessarily having to own them. Wonderchef has entered into the appliance rental segment keeping in mind students, millennials, and people who wish to experience its high-quality products but choose not to purchase them for the moment. Wonderchef has partnered with Rentity, India's first brand rental platform for a seamless operation. Under this unique business model, customers can rent a wide range of Wonderchef appliances at a monthly rental starting at just Rs 199. The rental period can vary from 3 to 12 months. The service includes delivery and pick up from customer's home. While this will add a legion of new customers to Wonderchef's fold, it also gives an opportunity to its vast base of happy customers to try newer products and ensure these products actually fit into their lifestyle before committing.

While announcing this new development, Ravi Saxena, Founder and CEO, Wonderchef said, "Wonderchef is synonymous with developing customer-friendly ideas and products. Entering the Shared Economy segment aligns with our philosophy of continuously evolving business models that augment customer experience. This segment has a huge potential that is yet to be tapped. Many customers require products for a limited time and yet do not wish to compromise with the quality of what they use. By renting they can use our products sustainably and return them when the need is over. We are excited about serving this segment and are eyeing 12% growth in our revenues from the rental segment." "Wonderchef products make the wishes of modern customers come true. Whether it's the fully automatic roti maker and pressure cooker, or the range of coffee machines, customers wish to experience them. Through the rental process, GenZ customers, millennials, first-time buyers and transient workers can get to use our products. Millennials are inclined towards sustainability. As their responsibility towards mother nature, they like to share things, rather than own and discard them,'' he further added.

How challenging is it for a brand to enter the rental business? "Rentity offers a plug-n-play platform for Brands making it super-easy for them to implement this new model. We love helping them gain the brand loyalty of modern consumers and additional revenues through an innovative business approach. Brands can now meaningfully engage with such consumers who control over 40% of consumer spending today and are slated to control over 75% of consumer spend by the year 2030. We enable Brands to proactively re-invent their business models and be prepared to harness the full potential of a fast-paced and evolving marketplace.", said Ashwani Bhasin, Founder and CEO, Rentity. "Positive consumer experience is key to the growth of digital economy. Modern consumers of a connected Digital India are value-conscious and brand-aware. They prefer a lifestyle of usership over ownership. They can now choose branded products to suit their budget and lifestyle needs, and be assured of the quality which the brands represent.", he stated addressing the needs of modern-day quality and environment-conscious consumers.

Amit Tilekar, CMO Wonderchef said, "We are already getting a strong response for Wonderent from our customers. In the last one month since our launch, we have received rental orders not only from tier-1 cities but also from over fifty tier-2 and tier-3 towns, adding new customers to our fold. Now, like regular purchases, customers can rent seamlessly from our website, and Rentity manages the KYC, rent collection, delivery, installation, and reverse pick-up of the product.
