Birla Siblings Inducted into Hindalco Industries' Board Amid Transformational Growth
Hindalco Industries has announced the induction of Kumar Mangalam Birla's children, Ananya Birla and Aryaman Vikram Birla, to its board. Ananya, a successful entrepreneur and artist, and Aryaman, an experienced businessman and professional sportsperson, are expected to contribute to Hindalco's strategic vision for a sustainable future.

Hindalco Industries announced on Tuesday that Ananya Birla and Aryaman Vikram Birla, children of Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, have joined its board.
According to a company statement, Ananya Birla and Aryaman Vikram Birla were inducted as Directors during the board meeting held on Tuesday. Ananya Birla is an established businesswoman and platinum-selling artist, who founded Svatantra Microfin Pvt Ltd at 17, now the second-largest microfinance institution in the country. Aryaman Birla brings varied experiences in entrepreneurship, VC investing, and professional sports, with active involvement in several Aditya Birla Group businesses, including fashion, retail, real estate, and paints.
The board also appointed Anjani Kumar Agrawal and Sukanya Kripalu as independent directors, and Bharat Goenka as CFO (Designate). In 2023, both Ananya and Aryaman were also appointed to the boards of Grasim Industries and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail and as directors of the Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd, the apex body of Aditya Birla Group. Hindalco Chairman stated that the company is in a transformational growth phase focused on sustainable practices, making it an ideal time to induct the Birla siblings, who align with the company's strategic vision for the future.
