Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Haryana on April 14 to inaugurate significant infrastructure projects. He will officially open the Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and boosting economic growth.

The visit, coinciding with Dr. B R Ambedkar's birth anniversary, will also see the laying of a foundation stone for an expansive 800 MW thermal power plant in the Yamunanagar district. The new unit is part of the Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant project, estimated at Rs 7,272 crore.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the details, emphasizing the importance of Prime Minister Modi's visits, which have historically resulted in developmental gifts for the state. Accompanied by other state officials, Saini highlighted the potential economic impacts of these projects.
