Operational Turbulence: IndiGo's Aviation Crisis Under Scrutiny

Over 2,000 flights have been canceled since Tuesday, stranding thousands at airports nationwide. In response, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched a four-member inquiry to investigate the situation.

The DGCA has issued a notice to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers, demanding accountability. As part of mitigation efforts, the DGCA has imposed limits on ticket sales, and refunds are underway for affected passengers.
