Tempo Traveller Mishap: 18 Nepalese Injured on Highway

A tempo traveller overturned on a national highway near Shimla, injuring 18 Nepalese passengers. The incident occurred due to the driver's loss of control. Nine passengers sustained serious injuries and were referred to a medical complex for treatment. Police have registered a case for rash and negligent driving.

A tempo traveller accident in Kingal, near Shimla, left 18 Nepalese injured, police reported on Saturday. Witnesses informed authorities immediately following the overturning incident on the national highway.

The driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the tempo overturning. All the passengers were injured and transported to the Community Health Centre in Kumarsain. Nine passengers, sustaining severe injuries, were referred to the Mahatma Gandhi Medical Service Complex, Khaneri, for advanced treatment.

Authorities registered a case citing sections 281 for rash driving and 125A for endangering life under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further details of the mishap.
