The landmark India-US trade deal showcases New India's robust economic stance while reinforcing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India, Make for the World' initiative, said Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The agreement, initiated under PM Modi's leadership, promises significant benefits to the citizens of both large economies and opens avenues for new opportunities.
Among the key sectors poised to benefit are textiles, pharma, chemicals, petroleum, gems, and jewellery, areas where Gujarat has established its leadership in manufacturing. Additionally, the deal's impact extends to the MSMEs, traders, and the industrial fabric of Gujarat, driving prosperity and growth.
Patel emphasized that the collaboration between the world's two largest democracies not only fortifies bilateral relations but also marks a progressive chapter in global welfare. He highlighted that further slashing of U.S. tariffs on Indian goods could significantly enhance manufacturing, job creation, and entrepreneurial opportunities on the global stage.
