Kamdhenu's 7% Profit Surge Amid Rising Market Demand
Kamdhenu, a leading TMT maker, reported a 7% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 21 crore in Q4. Kamdhenu, a prominent TMT producer, has reported a notable 7% growth in net profit, amounting to Rs 21 crore for the December quarter, fueled by rising income levels. This is a significant increase from the Rs 12.45 crore profit recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company also saw its total income rise to Rs 175.59 crore, up from Rs 172.65 crore in the same period last year. According to Kamdhenu Group CMD Satish Agarwal, the increase was driven by the company's highest-ever profit before tax and PBT margin of 16%, thanks to growth in franchise volumes and climbing royalty incomes.
Agarwal further stated that the demand for TMT steel bars continues to climb, supported by strong construction activities in urban and rural areas, bolstered by government initiatives. Kamdhenu Group, based in Gurugram, is also engaged in paint manufacturing.
