Realty firm Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd has achieved a remarkable turnaround, reporting a consolidated net profit of Rs 16.62 crore in the quarter ended March. This marks a significant recovery from the Rs 8.3 crore loss it posted in the same period a year ago.

The company's resurgence is attributed to a 47% rise in total income, reaching Rs 532.70 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal, compared with Rs 362.05 crore in the preceding year's corresponding period, as revealed in a regulatory filing.

In the 2025-26 fiscal, Smartworks also recorded a net profit of Rs 10.52 crore, a substantial improvement from its Rs 63.17 crore net loss in the previous financial year. With a portfolio of 16.1 million square feet across 66 centres in 15 cities in India and Singapore, Smartworks rents office spaces from developers to establish centres, subsequently sub-leasing these workstations to corporates.
