This is the third 250 MW unit commissioned by BHEL at Nabinagar TPP and is located at Nabinagar in Aurangabad district of Bihar. The first two units are already under commercial operation and the fourth unit is in an advanced stage of execution.
The company, in a statement, said that the scope of work involved design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators and boilers along with associated auxiliaries and electricals, besides controls and instrumentation and electrostatic precipitators.
