Global Minds Unite: IEM-UEM Hosts Prestigious Study Abroad and SENSE-SG Conferences in Singapore

The IEM-UEM Group's flagship 2026 Study Abroad Program and SENSE-SG Conference, held in Singapore, provided a platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange among academics, industry experts, and students. The event focused on cutting-edge technologies and strengthened global partnerships across academia and industry.

This past June, Singapore's Shaw Foundation Alumni House buzzed with intellectual fervor as the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata, and the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) hosted the 2026 Study Abroad Program (SAP) and Smart Edge & Neuromorphic Systems Conference (SENSE-SG 2026).

Under the astute leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director of the IEM-UEM Group, the event witnessed active participation from thought leaders in academia and industry. Prominent figures such as Dr. Mathew Chua from the National University of Singapore and Mr. Deepak Waghmare, CTO of Dell Technologies (APJ), delivered key insights on transformative technologies.

Marking a decade-long tradition of fostering global academic immersion, the initiative focused on frontier technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity.
