Tragedy Strikes: Violent Rampage at School Hostel

A class nine student unleashed a horrific attack at a private residential school hostel, leaving one dead and others injured. Local police reported the incident took place late Saturday night, with the deceased being a native of Andhra Pradesh.

The student's sudden rampage, supposedly triggered by a fit of rage, led to a chaotic scene where seven students were injured. The victim's body was sent to Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) in Ballari for post-mortem examination, Inspector General of Police (IGP) P S Harsha stated.

Currently, a comprehensive investigation is in progress to uncover the full details of the incident. As authorities seek the fleeing suspect, the case is being treated with care under the Juvenile Justice Act. The investigation remains sensitive, given the juvenile status of the accused and pending comprehensive reports.
