The sixth season of My Hero Academia (MHA) has left fans on the edge of their seats, with a thrilling storyline that has had its fair share of highs and lows. As the beloved anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's manga reaches its climax, viewers are eagerly anticipating My Hero Academia Season 7. One burning question that has been on everyone's mind is whether Midnight, one of the fan-favorite characters, is truly dead in the world of My Hero Academia

The Tragic Demise of Midnight: Midnight, whose real name is Nemura Kayama, met her unfortunate end in Season 6 of My Hero Academia. In Episode 14, titled "Hellish Hell," she falls victim to the members of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Midnight's death occurs during the intense battle between the heroes and villains, as they clash in the Paranormal Liberation War. Her demise was a heart-wrenching moment for fans who had grown fond of the character and admired her strength.

The Circumstances Leading to Midnight's Death: Midnight was assigned to a team whose objective was to storm the Gunga Mountain Villa, the main stronghold of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and apprehend its members. However, chaos erupted when Gigantomachia, a powerful enemy, awakened and posed a significant threat to the heroes. Midnight, along with other Pro Heroes, attempted to halt Gigantomachia's advance. She planned to use her quirk, Somnambulist, to subdue him.

Unfortunately, Midnight's plans were thwarted when she was attacked by Dabi and Mr. Compress in midair. Mr. Compress unleashed a barrage of debris, causing Midnight to plummet to the ground, sustaining severe injuries. Although she managed to instruct Yaoyorozu to create an anesthetic to immobilize Gigantomachia, Midnight's injuries proved fatal. Her lifeless body was discovered by the UA students following the battle.

Speculations and Possibilities: My Hero Academia has introduced various quirks and abilities throughout the series, some of which can heal injuries. However, the concept of reviving the dead has not been explored thus far. As a result, the chances of Midnight making a return in Season 7 seem unlikely. Fans must come to terms with the reality of her untimely demise and celebrate the impact she had on the series as a beloved teacher and powerful female character.

Looking Ahead to My Hero Academia Season 7: While Midnight's absence will undoubtedly be felt, fans can find solace in the confirmation of My Hero Academia Season 7. The end credits of the Season 6 finale revealed that the journey will continue, and the anticipation for the next installment is high. Based on past release patterns, it is reasonable to expect My Hero Academia Season 7 to arrive approximately 12 months after the Season 6 finale. If this trend continues, fans can look forward to My Hero Academia Season 7 premiering in Spring 2024.

We will continue to provide updates on My Hero Academia Season 7 as soon as new information becomes available. Stay tuned to Devdiscourse for more news and details about the upcoming season of this beloved anime series.
