The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), a Delhi-based autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, has opened its tenth regional centre in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
This new hub is dedicated to researching, documenting, and disseminating information on Vaishnava Agama and various architectural traditions. This initiative marks a significant step in preserving India's rich cultural heritage.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, the centre will contribute to the region's diverse cultural and historical essence, enhancing the nation's cultural and intellectual richness, according to Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA.
