The Bada Mangal season kicked off in the state capital on Tuesday, witnessing a massive turnout of devotees who flocked to Hanuman temples across the city, undeterred by the scorching sun. From Aliganj to Hazratganj, Aminabad to University Road, devotees united in large numbers to offer prayers at various temples on this significant 'Bada Mangal.'

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings via an X post, expressing hopes for courage, devotion, and health blessings. Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak also took to X, sending heartfelt wishes and prayers for strength and knowledge from Lord Hanuman to the populace.

Bada Mangal has rich spiritual roots, with astrologers detailing its significance dating back to mythological encounters of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram. In Lucknow, over 400 community feasts are organized, embodying interfaith harmony and historic traditions as highlighted by local astrologers and the city's administration.
