An 80-year-old woman hailing from Bidar, Karnataka is among the Indian Umrah pilgrims who tragically lost their lives in a fatal accident near Madina, Saudi Arabia. Officials reported this on Tuesday, following a devastating collision involving a bus and an oil tanker.

The deceased has been identified as Rahmat Bee, a resident of Mailur CMC Colony. She embarked on her journey to Saudi Arabia via Hyderabad, officials stated, noting ongoing communication with both Saudi authorities and the bereaved family members.

On Monday, state officials confirmed another victim, Abdul Gani Shirahatti, aged 55, from Hubballi. Conflicting reports emerge about the death toll, with figures ranging from 42, as per New Delhi sources, to 45 as per authorities in Telangana.
