On Tuesday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the Haryana government's plans to celebrate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur in partnership with the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. This grand event is designed to disseminate the Sikh Guru's powerful messages of sacrifice, bravery, and devotion among the public.

The fourth 'Nagar Kirtan Yatra' commenced from Sadhaura in remembrance of the ninth Sikh Guru, lauded by Saini as a pioneer of human rights. This procession aims to spread his messages of religious protection and unwavering faith to all districts across Haryana, eventually culminating in Kurukshetra on November 24. The following day, a major gathering will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest.

Highlighting the state government's efforts to preserve the teachings of revered personalities, Saini announced initiatives including the creation of a Guru Tegh Bahadur Chair at Chaudhary Devi Lal University and naming roads in honor of Sikh leaders. These celebrations, he emphasized, intend to inspire future generations with the profound legacy left by these spiritual guides.
